Birds

I got up early this morning to see if I could get any pictures of birds. I went down towards the Arizona Trail where there is a reclaimed water marsh/pond. I got a few nice pics, but mostly the birds were hiding in the plants or too far away.

I did see some cool baby coot-chicks hiding in the reeds. There were ducklings too, but their parents herded  them away from me.

The red-wing blackbirds were busy singing and posing.

A few herons were hunting. One stuck around longer than the others though.

There were some nice flowers too, but the wind made photography difficult.
